Soul Fillers is unique to Liverpool: it’s the only catering enterprise that employs people with learning disabilities and mental health concerns. The business taps into a huge pool of hitherto unused talent and skills – and that shows: the quality of the food produced in the Soul Fillers kitchen is lipsmackingly amazing!
Working with Soul Fillers and their mothership MOWLL (Moving On With Life & Learning) over the last few months, we planned their official launch event called FRESH! Fabulous Food – A Fresh Perspective. Soul Fillers went from strength to strength, picking up preferred supplier contracts at the 2030 UN Hub and Capacity Lab; meanwhile, we were in charge of the ticketing and sales process, the promotion, programming the entertainment and the overall planning of the night.
FRESH took place at Camp and Furnace on 28th November 2017 and Soul Fillers completely and utterly smashed it! Feeding a 120-strong crowd of hungry and discerning dining guests, they kept smiling, had a ball and received deserved standing ovations on the night. The entertainment was a cracker, too – a launch party to remember!
