The organisers of the All Wales Boat Show tackled an even bigger project in 2019: they put on the Festival of Discovery in Anglesey. The event hosted the boat show alongside a three-day showcase of Welsh produce, bolstered by an outstanding programme of activities for families and a knock-out programme of finest Welsh folk music.  We were brought onto the team to manage the stage: always a pleasure, but even more so as the line-up was fantastic! Closely working with the sound engineer, we made the stage programme run smoothly and every band sounded great, despite the wind and the occasional rain shower.

The excellent team pulled out all the stops to make this inaugural Festival of Discovery an instant  fixture in the Anglesey events diary and, thanks to water-proof clothing and sensible shoes,  it was an absolute pleasure to be part of it.
